The Violet Hour is the exclusive project by Panorama Bar resident Massimiliano Pagliara and Michael Greene aka Fort Romeau, for Berlin imprint Cocktail d’Amore.
Prisoner Of Love is an overwhelming dialogue between synthesizers and classic piano, resulting in a comforting, romantic piece of cosmic disco. The dub mix pushes the lower frequencies to the max with an involving italo-classic baseline, the melodic elements become more straightforward, the narrative is flawless climaxing in a joyful synth-storm.
One Morning In The Future takes over the A side. A total dancefloor pleaser. Treating us with chicago house-inspired drums and that kind of cosmic pads which make any seasoned raver jump and kiss a nearby stranger. The intensity never stops growing and new melodic strings appear unexpectedly, projecting the track to the rings of Saturn. The Violet Hour is an evergreen example of contemporary man-machine love making.

One More Fluorescent Rush is one of my favorite tracks of the decade; it is beautiful yet dynamic, laced with sparkling synths and melodies that will make sure it is being played at high volumes for years to come. The music video is a masterpiece as well, no surprise since Whities always comes correct with the visuals. Avalon Emerson's remix of Four Tet's Teenage Birdsong is also a must buy, reminding us that her signature sound remains unique and unlike anything else out there. Edward
